Technomad Modular Military PA Systems are "building blocks" you can use to custom-build a PA system to cover VERY large areas, or for other special applications. [ Please note: for many applications - small bases, mobile audio - a Turn-Key PA is the best choice ]. All components of Technomad modular systems are integrated into Technomad flight cases, and can be set up quickly and easily. System can be permanently installed or deployed for mobile use. System can be linked using ethernet or wireless digital 'Link Kits'.

Technomad Modular Military PA System Components:

Audio Source Pack - Complete, pre-wired racks with microphone, CD deck, expandable mixer, etc. Audio Source Packs send audio via Link Kits to one or more Output Packs, which amplify and project the audio signal.
Link Kits - used to send audio from an Audio Source Pack to one or more Output Packs
(spread spectrum wireless transmitters and receivers, up to 30 mile range range)
Wireless and Ethernet link kits are available
Output Packs - Complete pre-wired sets of IP56 rated weatherproof loudspeakers, amplifier, flight case, tripods, speaker cables. Output Packs must be supplied audio signal from an Audio Source Pack via Link Kits. For the volume of these Output Packs at different listening distances, please see this chart.
Directional and Circular coverage pattern Output Packs are available
Accessories (such as wireless microphones, warning tone/siren generators, etc.)

Audio Source Pack

Complete audio source pack generates audio for transmission to Output Pack(s) via Wireless or Fiber Optic link lits. Source rack includes: flight case, cd-player, expandable 6-input mixer, and a hand-held microphone. Add an optional Warning Tone Generator for additional utility. The Source Rack is pre-wired. Link Kits

Link Kits send audio from Audio Source Packs to one or more Output Packs. There are two varieties of Link Kit: Wireless (best for most applications) or Ethernet.

Link Kit - Wireless, Send / Receive, HIGH GAIN, Omni - High gain (increased range) version of the Technomad version II wireless link system. Acts as transmitter or receiver of audio (pre-set by Technomad). Includes 9 dB Omni-directional Antenna. No license required for use, 2.4 GHz spread spectrum. Can be used with Technomad wireless link nodes, such as the 472-tno-909, 472-tno-911, and 472-tno-910. Product # 472-tno-913
Link Kit - Wireless, Send / Receive, HIGH GAIN, Directional - High gain (increased range) version of the Technomad wireless link system. Link Kit, Wireless Repeater - Wireless repeater for Technomad wireless systems. Does not transmit or receive audio - instead, it acts as a repeater to extend the range between send / receive nodes, or to allow routing of signal around obstacles to line-of-sight. No license required for use, 2.4 GHz spread spectrum. Can be used with Technomad wireless link nodes, such as the 472-tno-913, 472-tno-909, and 472-tno-910. Product # 472-tno-911

Link Kits - Ethernet

Have an existing Ethernet network? Connect Technomad PA components over your network using the Ethernet Link Kit (one Ethernet Link Required per PA Element, i.e. Audio Source Pack, Output Pack, etc).

Output Packs

Output Packs receive the audio signal transmitted by Link Kits and generated by an Audio Source Pack and amplify it and project the signal through loudspeakers. There are Directional and Omnidirectional Output Packs.

Directional - 180 degree / semi-circular coverage

SuperConductor™ Flash RAM Player- Recorder with Automatic Playback

Rack Mounted, User-Programmable Audio Player. User can load up to 1500 sounds via Ethernet (or by removing internal USB stick and plugging into a host computer). Sounds can be assigned in any order to rotary knob. Screen displays selected sound. Knob can be pressed to start-stop playback. Looping, one-shot, or press-to-hold play modes. Ideal for local-language messages, ceremonial audio, sirens, warning tones, combat simulation, PSYOPS, and more. Sounds can be programmed to play automatically on any schedule using internal clock.
